Wine-grower’s word
" The 2013 Vintage is a good vintage in Saint-Emilion. Merlots, in majority, have enabled by their earliness to harvest before the big rainy periods of September’s end. Saint-Emilion vineyard is the most distant from the ocean, what enabled us to preserve vine from humidity, and from mildew and botrytis attacks. "

Sommelier’s advice
Recipe suggestion: Piece of beef cooked on vine-shoot embers, Galicia beef, rack of Noir de Bigorre pork, a cheese: Ossau-Iraty.
" Red wine with an intense robe, with ruby red tints, limpid, shiny, still. The attack is direct, bold. The fruit appears immediately, with roundness, supported by a present tannic structure. A crispy, gourmet and full-bodied wine, with a delicately tannic finish on the mouth, leaving an impression of fine bitterness. The fruit is long, juicy. Tannins are digestible, and will of course soften with time. "

Œnologist’s advice
" Red robe with correct intensity. Nose of raspberry, very expressive. Young mouth, with tannins still juvenile but accurate. "
