Wine-grower’s word
" The year 2013 was exceptionally absorbing. With a rainy spring, arid summer, and tropical October, it would have been easy to harvest a medium-quality grape. But that was not the case. We were able to elaborate and chose the best grapes thanks to technical progress and this cuvee is really a success. "

Sommelier’s advice
Recipes suggestion: Peking duck and litchis seared with butter, Red Meat smoked with Rooibos, Rossini Duck Tournedos, Venison with cranberry.
" During aeration, vegetable and floral notes supplant other flavours. The nose is dense, fresh, developing a damp cellar odour; and also subtly spicy with Indian green pepper notes. The Wine is round, sweet, and at the same time strong. It is generous, with elegant tannins, and a long finish, with an elegant bitterness. Anthracite, chalky notes make the wine denser, and it presents a smooth mouth, honestly far more delicious than what the nose presaged. "

Œnologist’s advice
Mat cherry red
" Nose on cooked fruits, mouth full-bodied and lively, the bottom of the mouth is as strong as can be; the finish is on sweetness, slightly vanilla-flavoured. "
